Thank you for this beautiful post Valeria, and for the lovely credit. I'm deeply honored.

"So the way you behave -- Oh, behave! -- mirrors pretty much who you are."

I totally agree with this as actions always speak louder than words. When I think of the bloggers I enjoy reading (many of them on the biz side are the same as yours), the one thing I notice is a level of passion, and that the writer writes for themself and not the audience.

What this means is that the writer is expressing what is in their hearts, and how they actually feel about something. When you write for the audience, the point of reference is something like, "what do people want to hear" or "What will be popular so that I can get tons of links and hits." In my experience, visitors respond more when there is heartful dialogue whether you are a solo blogger or a corporate giant.

When people ask me what it takes to be successful at blogging, I always advise them to focus on quality and being yourself. As well, pick a topic that you care about because the blogging will be a joy. It's very easy to get caught up in the excitement of hits and links but those things don't necessarily mean quality of relationships, loyalty, or even revenue, and believe me at the end of the day you are going to really appreciate and love those devotees.

You have a wonderful voice, so please keep blogging!
