What do You Want for Christmas?

Natale1_1If you could realize any wish, what would it be?

If you could choose any of the ideas or possibilities you've heard about this year -- what would you make happen?

This photo is the closest I could come to an Italian Santa -- the Vespa sold me when I saw it in La Stampa. Which is where I got the 'gift' idea that inspired me to inquire about your *idea* as a gift.

I've observed this in many of the circles in which I'm active. When asked what they would most want for Christmas, people tend to focus on intangibles -- ideas, dreams, time, etc. Well, (if you'll pardon the pun) Time has already given you the gift of yourself.

What one idea would *you* give as a gift to the world?

I think I would give everybody glasses that combine to be both communication devices, TV Screen watching device, virtual reality device, music player and maybe a few other things ... The ear/sidearms could house the speakers and could be fashional enough to provide shade against sunlight, naturally.

Valeria, since you ask specifically about a gift to the world, you might be interested in www.gifter.org They're doing a Million Dollar Blog Post that's right up this alley. The concept is so cool I did a post on it. Go check them out when you have the chance.

For me it would be the ability to raise the level of their small talk - so everyone could have a hand in raising the vibrational level of communication. That way we'd talk less about what doesn't work and more about what we're doing to get beyond stuck.

As we get more wishes flowing into Gifter.org we can spread the word with more mainstream media. We have decided to not send out press releases, or promote with direct media ourselves since part of the experiment is to see how long it takes for grassroots generosity and authentic word of mouth stories can spread the word about a great cause.

Your help in posting this, and having this great discussion is really appreciated.

We have free wishes available and the more people use, the more we can get sponsors to pledge to support the rest.
