Live on BlogTalk Radio -- with some of the most interesting blogging minds

Tuesday evening I joined a BlogTalk Radio show on branding hosted by BlogBusinessWorld host Wayne Hulbert who joined us from Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Mike Sansone, calling from Des Moines, IA was the talent behind the scenes. Distinguished guests and idea generators with me (calling from Philadelphia, PA) were:

ClinckInfluence Social Media RSS -- with some of the bloggers most "useful to companies looking to formulate a social media strategy"

Nick Wilson at ClickInfluence shared a number of feeds about social media with his readers in one "killer RSS feed". Nick put a lot of thought into his descriptions of his pipe dreams, how David Armano defined them. A list of interesting bloggers joins us: Suw Charman, Daniel Riveong, Kathy Sierra, Ben McConnell & Jackie Huba, Charlene Li & Josh Bernoff, Karl Long, Rohit Bhargava, John Boyle, Jennifer Jones, Jake McKee, Greg Sterling, Anastasia Goodstein, Steve Rubel, Lisa Whelan.

From London [photo], the Mascots of the Olympic Games 2008, Peking -- visiting Piccadilly Circus, each representing a symbol of the Chinese culture. Wearing the colors of the Olympic rings are: Beibei the fish, Jingjing the panda, Huanhuan is fire (the Olympic flame), Yingying the Tibetan antelope, and Nini the swallow. The first letters of their names spell Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni ("Welcome to Peking").

What conversations have inspired *you* this week?

You're doing a wonderful job of generating links!

Valeria,

That's one of the best things about the blogosphere -- all the incredible conversations that you can either jump into or eavesdrop in on.

I really enjoyed sharing the BlogTalk Radio mic with you. I knew from our previous conversations that we shared many of the same views on branding, but it was great fun to talk about them together "live" and in person.

Drew

Roger -- thank you for your support. My aim is to create a space where people can test ideas and make them operational. The testing can happen in our heads -- how often have you rehearsed something silently? So I am grateful to all readers for their thinking and doing as well. Ideas develop so much better when we let them gather steam by talking with others.

Drew -- the face-to-face or at least phone-to-phone connection allows for many more clues about how people view the world. Fascinating!

Hey Valeria -- Thanks for pointing out BlogTalk Radio. Haven't checked any of these out yet, but now I will. Looks interesting.
